Adriana is not only a Register Massage Therapist (RMT), but also a Manual Osteopathic Therapist (MOT). Her passion for health and wellness along with a desire to help those who struggle with chronic pain and stress, have guided her to her current practice. She graduated from Eastern College as an RMT at the top of her class. She excels at relaxing/Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, sports massage, prenatal, postnatal, abdominal visceral, myofascial, cupping, hot stone, MVA, TMJ, rotator cuff, frozen shoulder, acute & chronic pain, headaches/migraines, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis), medial epicondylitis (golfer’s elbow), joint mobilization, insomnia as well as preventative maintenance.
Adriana studied MOT at MOCC Edmonton. As a MOT, the focus is on helping each patient’s body heal by getting to the root cause of your symptoms; this is done by creating balance within your body so it can function optimally.
During a MOT appointment Adriana can treat your organs using Visceral Manipulation (VM), or treatment of your bones and joints using Osteoarticulation (OA), or treatment of your skull bones, pelvis and spinal fluid using Craniosacral Therapy. Further using Advance Myofascial Remodeling to treat your connective tissue (fascia) as well as your lymphatic system can receive a beneficial Lymphatic Drainage Therapy.
Adriana’s goal is for you to leave with a better understanding of your body and the tools to ensure that your daily activities are not limited by injuries or pain. Her training as a choreographer, former gymnast and passion for yoga, pilates, and reiki gave her a solid understanding of the impact in which strenuous activity as well as motility can have on the body.
Shock Wave Therapy is a non-invasive, non surgical treatment that accelerates healing and treats chronic conditions. It stimulates blood flow, collagen formation, reduces chronic inflammation, accelerates healing and improves joint mobilization.
